Variable frequency AC test system, designed to be used in field tests of withstand voltages of gas insulated switchgears (GIS), can operate in the range of 20-300 Hz and also complies with IEC 60517 and IEC 62271-203 standards.
Application of the Test
The WRVG type G system can be flanged directly to the test object. The high voltage reactor, isolated with SF-6 gas, takes up much less space than conventional systems and provides high output power. When the test system and test object are flanged directly, it turns into a low-noise closed system, creating an ideal structure for precise partial discharge measurements. In the WRV M type system, the test object is connected to the test system via a bushing. In addition to its modular structure, the high voltage reactor has an external air insulation system. Higher test voltages or powers can be obtained by connecting multiple reactors in series or parallel. The test system, which does not take up much space, can be easily transported in a container. It can also be made portable by being installed on a trailer.
