Vaisala Multiparameter Transmitter DPT145 for SF6 gas is a unique innovation thatenables online measurement of dew point, pressure, and temperature. It alsocalculates four other values, including SF6 density. DPT145 is especially well suited forintegration into OEM systems.
Online dew point measurementcombined with pressure measurementprovides an excellent assessment ofthe condition of SF6 insulation. Suddenand minor leakages are immediatelydetected by the direct normalizedpressure measurement, while online dewpoint measurement alerts the user tomoisture issues, which can weaken theinsulation properties of SF6 and causerapid deterioration. With DPT145, it isalso easy to build a redundant solutionfor multiple parameters.
